Note: Before installing the lock, the best way to determine whether the door is opening from left or right is to put the lock on the surface of the door to see if you can press it down to open the door. If you can only open the door when lift handle up, you will need to adjust the screws in both handles to open the door normally.

Below is the most IMPORTANT note.
In fact, this lock's ordinary status is that it can be unlocked with any fingerprint. If you can unlock the door with any finger or skin after setting fingerprints, that means you do not program fingerprints successfully.
Therefore, you should reset this lock and set your fingerprint again.
Operation steps:
Reset factory settings:
1. Press and hold the reset button about 9 seconds(reset button is on the top of the battery case), release it until red light flashes, then green light flashes. Now it has been reset successfully, all fingerprints data has been cleared.
*At this point, any fingerprint can unlock this lock, and it will auto-lock after 3 seconds with blue light on.
Register the first fingerprint:
1.Press and hold the reset button, release it until blue light flashes. Fingerprints can be recorded at this time.
2. Then register your fingerprint for 5 times, the green light flashes every time means setting successfully.
Register other fingerprints:
1.Press and hold the reset button, release it until blue light flashes, verify the administrator fingerprint.
2. When the blue light is on, new fingerprints can be recorded. Register your fingerprint for 5 times, the green light flashes every time means setting successfully.
[*The first three fingerprints you registered were administrator fingerprints.]
To avoid an emergency case or finger getting injured, you are suggested to register more than 2 fingerprints.
